North Gaia EC sees 3,700 visitors on preview weekend

SINGAPORE (EDGEPROP) – Like Provence Residence as well as Parc Greenwich, North Gaia lies in the north region. What’s even more, the last new launch of an EC job in Yishun was in 2015, says Mark Yip, Chief Executive Officer of Huttons Asia. “Buyers are for that reason anxious to see what the first EC launch in 2022 is providing,” he adds.

Restricted supply is one more reason, with less than 15 units left unsold from the existing supply, points out Gafoor. There are only two EC properties that have remnant units to buy. The 413-unit Provence Residence at Canberra Crescent, which was introduced in May last year, has simply three unsold units. At Parc Greenwich on Fernvale Lane in Seletar Hills, just 10 of the 496 units in the EC project continue to be unsold.

” The last time we saw such crowds was three years earlier in the pre-Covid period,” states Doris Ong, deputy chief executive officer of ERA Singapore. “A great deal of people have not visited showflats in a long period of time,” she includes.

The 616-unit North Gaia at Yishun Close opened for e-application on April 7, as well as will be released for sale on April 23. “We are really encouraged by the solid interest in our job,” comments Lee Sze Hao, Chief Executive Officer of Sing Holdings, the builder of North Gaia.

Pollen Collection condo showflat

The initial executive condominium (EC) of 2022, North Gaia, opened its sales gallery and showflats for public viewing last weekend break. The sales gallery at Canberra Link drew concerning 2,000 visitors by the close of Saturday, and also one more 1,700 on Sunday. This brings the tally of visitors over the end ofthe week of April 9-10 to 3,700.

The easing of the secure monitoring steps permitting a highest capacity of 1,000 visitors in a builder’s project sales gallery was “prompt”, mentions Ken Low, managing partner of SRI. “It satisfies the surging demand for EC as well as the solid qualities of North Gaia,” he states.

Ismail Gafoor, CEO of PropNex does not see the solid turnover as “return home acquiring” in the wake of the easing of limitations. “We knew this was going to be the hottest-selling project of 2022,” he states. “With the most up to date EC land proposals going across $660 psf per plot ratio, the upcoming jobs will be gone for greater prices. We thus expect strong attention due to bottled-up need for ECs.”

The loosening of secure management procedures for developers’ sales galleries has enabled more potential buyers to watch the showflats. At North Gaia, watchings were still conducted by-appointment only. This was done to guarantee the safety of viewers, says Sharlin Tan, head of advertising and also sales at Sing Holdings. “Seeing consultations were established at various intervals to give us moment to sanitise the sales gallery,” she explains.
